i need to find out the best way and the best program to burn an audio cd. Let me know what steps you do it and which program do u use to create the best audio cd.
If there's already a link of the method, than please close this thread.
I see alot of programs but i do not find the correct method of it. One of the feature i think is important is Normalisation which Ipod has .. it normalise the loud sound and poor quality audio becomes one loud sound.
hope some one pro can help me out here.
thanks

If you download a crappy MP3 from the internet and burn it into a disc, sure it will be crappy.
Audio CDs are manufactured with the mixing engineering guy who are expert in sound. Once a consumer rip it in a wrong way or something, it will turn out to be the worst MP3 quality ever. I always listen direct from Audio CD, I never rip it, you will notice big difference in sound quality (if you have sharp ear listening). That's the first thing you guys should know and please don't compare with pirated media.
Conclusion, I also don't know what is the best software to burn Audio CD. For 24-bit Audio CD burning, you need a good CD-R/RW, a good burner and a good software like Nero?
For voluming mixing (Normalization), Windows Media Player does have this function but it is not called normalization. The option on Windows Media Player is called "Apply volume leveling across tracks on the CD" under Options > Burn tab.
If you happen to burn downloaded MP3 off the internet illegal, don't expect the quality to be nice even though the bit rate is 320kbps.

less burning failure and hoping that the data inside the CD will last longer than a week without corrupting.

dunno say this but if u want high quality audio,u got a really good source even 320 mp3 CBR cannot arhieve good sound since mp3 (lousy comprassion format) delete all the frame for disk space...
if u are serious to make high quality...i recomend loseless format (FLAC,APE,WAVPACK,TTA) cause like mp3,no sacriffice quality even u decoded to wave,it will retain the quality from the original CD......

Hmm.. i'm a bit confused about the notion that: 'slower the burning speed, better the sound quality'.
Anyone care to explain?

Just like what LovesReborn said: QUOTE(LovesReborn @ Feb 9 2007, 08:00 AM) less burning failure and hoping that the data inside the CD will last longer than a week without corrupting. The quality is depends on the source. The best which is .wav
