QUOTE(Avangelice @ Nov 30 2016, 11:49 PM) without that knowledge on china's movement post trump, I would have gone heavily on India to prop up my portfolio also from the news i found out modi made a mistake of cutting of india's currency which was a signal for me to be careful in my investment. Thanks for posting news and articles. Really appreciate it.so I topped up on Asia ex Japan instead of India and my portfolio now is starting to turn green which ironically is being propped up by rhb asian income and TA Global which were purchased just mere weeks ago . the ones that is keeping it down is...... libra and small cap. if I knew there was no reprieve and BNM lying their way to float our economy with their foreign Reserve, I would have sold it off and went on EM when it tanked so my mistake for giving my country men a benefit of a doubt. PS. i am not here to argue with the rest of you, if you do not like the way I invest my money it's fine but I am sharing my knowledge to those who are feeling lost and clueless. I took the initiative to email FSM and post Bloomberg news here in a hope that all these posts will serve as free tuition classes to coming investors. also I actively post up my ideas so that they can be critiqued and David, xuzen, Puchong and some of the guys were not shy in giving their feedback and I value them greatly. They saved me from making a few gung ho or impetus mistakes. I went in Quantum fund preTrump now bleeding -3%. Can still hold or run? |

QUOTE(Avangelice @ Dec 1 2016, 09:48 PM) This makes all that I have said a week back right. stay away from US and Europe and concentrate on Asia ex Japan and EM. If you have time to underweight it and take your profits December January is the time. Trump just elected Wall street as finance advisors eventho he promised that he will kill Wall Street which is already a promise he broken. Thanks for the adviceadopt an aggressive approach with 40% in Asia ex Japan -10% to 15% in fixed income fund (short term 1yr to 2 yrs) 20% in emerging markets 10% in India 10% in REIT 10% in Global 10% in China Now who made a big hoo ha that reading news and micromanaging your portfolio is pointless? |
