Concerns on the sub sale house, checking on the house condition

i just want some opinion.
i bought a house, paid 3%. i know the house was rented out before (agent told me rented to Malay family at least 4 years).
My lawyer found out the one of the owner passed away since 2012. U know for older generation, my parents is skeptical about if the owner had passed away in the house that we bought. I called the agent again, she told me no worry, the Malay family rented more than 4 years.
I wander if i thinking too much, or is there anyway to get the information on the rental agreement date the Malay family signed. If they live more than 4 years, if definitely solve my doubt the house. How to get the info?
