just got my psp. lots of things to learn.

so far, i know that cso images are compressed version of iso images. is there any disadvantage in using cso images? slower to load?

what is the best tools to convert iso to ciso? i found CiSO and it works quite good.

some games might lag if you back them up using CSO.
but ISO is bigger.
so look at the game..

Silly question but how do I install it? Do I just drop it in the root of memory stick?

Put the EBOOT.PBP into your homebrew folder. Then go to XMB and run it.

1. still running on 3.60 m33 and not sure if i should update to 3.71 m33. since there is a 3.72 already released will there be a3.72 m33 soon?

2. also, i don't understand how to update to 3.71 m33-2 cause there seems to be two parts -- the firmware update and kernel update? which should be done first? or should they be done together?

thanks!

i surely hope so ... cause i didn't bother installing the kernel update in the end for my slim. even in the 3.71 33 update the kernel update is only mentioned for the fat version.

hope i did the right thing.
