2. also, i don't understand how to update to 3.71 m33-2 cause there seems to be two parts -- the firmware update and kernel update? which should be done first? or should they be done together?

Price i cant do much, but its deifnately reasonable.
If change firmware, should be much problem even if the unit is a japanese unit right?

I recently owned a psp slim with ver 3.71. The first few days i was enjoying the games installed in the mspd.
but after that i started to have frequent hang during the game, else the memory card is not detected. i've not made any changes to the psp. anyone experience this?

Er.. If i update the CFW using fake MSPD.. will it cause any problem? 

Eg. Stop at half when updating.

But so far im using it to play game didnt have any problem.

May i know wat's the diff if we use fake MSPD and ori MSPD to update cfw?

Is it possible to format the memory stick into FAT system using PC (Command prompt) after da PSP is connected to the PC through a USB cable, or must i use a card reader to read the MSPD and format it from there?

guyz, um about to buy a psp slim and lite which comes with umd disc (which i donno whut its for) here in dubai. price is around 700+

q1) actually im focusing on music listening. can psp take high VBR mp3 file? will it play? how is the sound quality sony psp produce? does it have any custom equalizer?

q2) lets say um listening only to da music, how long will the battery will last? whut about movie, how long will it last?

q3) can psp battery be charge with only usb cable connected to pc?
