Yeah, FAT on a MSPD will improve performance. If you are using custom firmware (could this be done on a non-custom?) , u could try increasing your cpu speed. Though it might consume more battery juice. Might help.

Mine was originally FAT (pun not intended smile.gif )....apparently it's a recommended thing to do by other ppl that tested them. So it's considered proven.

Turn off your PSP (not sleep), Power ON with the 'R' trigger pressed to go into the Recovery Menu, look around inside CPU Speed, the settings for clock speed. change it and exit.

you can also change it by pressing the music symbol and pressing up on the d-pad, and to make it lower press music symbol and press down.
