Do not. I repeat DO NOT flash dump to ur psp using another psp dump. It will corrupt the ID Storage.
The correct way to unbrick a bricked PSP slim is to dump the bricked psp slim using dcv3 (yes dump it even it's brick).
And hexedit out the idstorage and combine it with empty dump file before flashing it to the bricked PSP.

Attached is the empty psp slim nand dump (use 7zip or jzip to extract).
Just hex out the idstorage of the bricked psp slim and combine with this empty nand with partition information and then flash back to the psp, then use DCv3 to install 3.17 m33-2.

Caution! If u dont understand what is this all about, plz dun, I REPEAT! DO NOT TRY IT.

I'm not responsible for any further brick for trying the above method.
But this can restore the bricked psp slim with correct id storage.

really hard to understand..  sweat.gif

empty nand partition..  hmm.gif if it empty mean the psp cant run.. mean got no firmware.. so its like must use pandora battery to boot it in order to dump it?  hmm.gif
That's correct. That y u need to install again v3.71 m33-2 using pandora dcv3.

But using nand dump that contain firmware isnt its easier?
Yes, but what if you did not hmake backup of your nand dump?
If u did make backup, then u dun need to do all this.
Can just restore the nand dump of yours.

That's correct, if you have backup your psp nand, you can just restore the nand if your psp bricked.

The above method is for those who did not have the nand backup and bricked their psp slim via modification of flash0 (mnostly is trying to flash themes that is meant for psp phat.)

Try this: Put the mspd into your psp, connect your psp to the computer via usb cable, copy the iso into the new removable drive that appear.

from what I know....the original one is slow, fake is fast...lol

anyway did anyone realize when they turn on their PSP...the background wallpaper sometimes loads a little slow?

Obviously you dun have much experience on fake/ori mspd.
Dun simply take other's words into it.
Fake mspd is slower that an ori mspd.

firstly i format the normal way, from the psp slim itself, system settings and so on...
then i put some iso's.. maybe they were corrupted,i deleted them~format again..
then connect to pc there was no more files named iso,mproot..blabla... insted some other files come out(forgot name)
i format again... still no change, still unrecognized files...then i select all files and delete and come out red screen with error

try to on back the power, the screen is blank and no more clicking sound...
weird thing though, i put the mspd into my mem.card reader after that and all the supposed formatted files are in there!!

and now im left with a new bricked psp...slim
