in the menu mode, can i remove the memory card? or must turn off first then only can remove?

You mean the XMB Home Main Menu. You can do either doesn't matter it won't spoil your PSP or Memory Stick since its only reading the card not writing it.

Well i think its a fake the memory stick , Tomb Raider is in cso but it does not matter if games are in cso or in iso format certain game intro's usually lag. But yeah I was thinking of getting an original one a fast memory stick. Do you guys have any suggestions. And yes my speed in the configuration menu is 333for both umd and the other one cant remember  tongue.gif . Anyway any other suggestions. Usually i noticed before when i was using 3.10 oe-a , tony hawks undergrouds 2 movie was a jerky but when the new firmware came out 3.40 oe-a it was working fine. So i guess i have to wait now for  3.60 m33 tongue.gif since i am using 3.52-m33-2 . Anyway could someone suggest a good brand and speed to get . I want 4gig need space for *woo hoo games * smile.gif

LOL don't know why people bother buying fake flash cards. Just few weeks back some shops in LYP doing promotiion on Memory Stciks. 4GB MS PRO Duo only for around $250. I recommend getting SanDisk they are the best in producing memory sticks and 5 years limited warranty and also a hardcase to store your stick unlike Sony which give you a soft pouch that can barely protect it.

Shit! You serious? RM250 only?? Why did I even bother checking Sony Style....they set the price there RM399 doh.gif
How long does the promotion last? or how do we know if its fake...
cannot warranty ka? Or is it fake?
*
LOL of course Sony Style are selling for a "Premium" price because they are the official dealers thats their "Style". Not sure how long it lasted but I can confirm you can get a 4GB SanDisk 4GB PRO Duo for below 300. Also its not fake I can confirm its 100% genuine stick because it got the warranty assurance sticker by "Photo Marketng Sdn Bhd" which is the official distributor for SanDisk products here added I even went to the offical SanDsik retailer located in LYP upper floor and yes you can claim warranty from them directly.

aiya... IPOD sound quality is no big deal la... if you've used any of sony products you will definately know their sound quality is better cos they are pro in this sound thingy.

ipod sound... even Meizu mp3 player is equivalent or even better

For the most part I think it mostly depends on your earphone you're using. Also my conclusion is that the PSP external speakers are CRAP, Sony really doesn't know how to make good speakers. tongue.gif

My advise is that for those who want much better experince with the sound quality on their PSP go and get yourself a good pair of earphones like the Creative EP-630. MUCH better than those bundled Sony earphones and better sound quality for like 10x more. smile.gif

about the music playback, is the quality comparable to Walkman? got any bass enhancement and equalizer?
*
The PSP external speakers sound quality are one of the worst ever period, if you are in a noisy crowd don't even bother listening. The best remedy so far are only good headphones/earphones or add on attachment speakers.

I just meant any virus that could affect out PSPs. Can never be too careful sweat.gif
*
As far as I know there are no "virus" for the PSP since the PSP its self don't utilize any specific OS (Operating System). A virus in most cases is a rogue "program" written for a specific OS. However in the PSP case it operate on firmware which as a whole is the XMB, worst that people can do is to place a Trojan program on your PSP and execute it without or with your knowledge about it which pretty much corrupts your PSP firmware and get you a brick. tongue.gif However all these is pretty pointless as the existence of custom firmware and the "Crown Jewel" of the PSP homebrew the "Pandora's Battery" render bricking totally useless.

Does this mean that they are totally the same product? Or they are actually different?
*
They are the same just different packaging. Wouldn't make much sense if they named the product Chotto Shot ("Quick Shot/ Instant Shot") outside of Japan would it? what sucky about the European Go!Cam is that it DOES NOT include the editing software bundle instead you have to download it while the Japanese Chotto Shot is bundled with the editing software in UMD although its in Japanese language of course tongue.gif . However locally you will find most retailers selling the Chotto Shot instead.

if using custom/homebrew firmware, can we play games of different region than the PSP region?
*
Shoudn't the PSP be region free? tongue.gif

Sony already stated UMD games will ALL be region free however this does not apply to UMD movie. The following are the PSP regional coding system:

-Region 0: Worldwide
-Region 1: United States, and Canada
-Region 2: European Union, Japan, Middle East, Egypt, South Africa, and Greenland
-Region 3: Taiwan, South Korea, the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and most Southeast Asian contries
-Region 4: Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Mexico, and South America
-Region 6: China only

To put it short, any games from other foreign regions will work on your PSP regardless of region however movie UMD will not.

Guys, this may sounds like a downright stupid arse questions but kill me if you want but let me ask this first...
Whats a Pandora Battery???Whats a Magic Memory Stick???
Do you need Pandora Battery and magic memory stick before running Custom Firmwares like M33 V3.71 m2???
How to flash up the NAND drives???incase of like what you guys said before???and is pandora batter and magic memory stick is required for flashing NAND drives??
Sorry for asking..

On topic, the Pandora battery is a very special battery then act like a "jigkick battery" as the developers put it to put the PSP in service mode which is turns gives the user opportunity to "revive" a fully bricked PSP. As for the "Magic Memory Stick" it is a usual Memory Stick PRO Duo created by dumping the firmware files it needs to reflash the PSP back to operational mode.

To cut the long story short Google it. rolleyes.gif
