TA-086 also doesn't have that I0CC thing at the back of the UMD compartment slot, so it's hard to tell.
and please, there are no such thing as stable or not stable PSP. It's a marketing strategy used by irresponsible sellers. This post has been edited by King83: Jun 13 2007, 11:40 PM |

since Bullit and Bluesilver asking the same thing, i'll answer.
DAX's OE is actually the same as Sony's official firmware. meaning, 3.40 OE-A = Sony's 3.40. The only difference is OE (Open Edition) can run homebrew. So in other words, of course higher fw is better (more features). But make no mistake about it, You don't want a high Sony fw, else you can't downgrade, leaving ur PSP not as powerful as it can be. and bullit, i already told u anything higher than 2.80 supports 4GB. and yet u continued asking me if 3.10OE will work. I hope u didn't fail math class. |

- homebrew makes PSP powerful.
- Sony's Official Firmware higher means, more features. - Dark_Alex's firmware higher means, can do whatever Sony's PSP can (of the same fw) + got homebrew. |

QUOTE(BlueSilver @ Jun 16 2007, 01:32 AM) of cos the latest 3.40 OE-A lahQUOTE(psyeo @ Jun 16 2007, 06:24 PM) hmm, sorry if it is a repeated question. I just bought a PSP1000 from my friend with 2.6 firmware, what is the available ways for me to update to 3.40 OE? do i need the unpatched grand theft auto? u need to check whether if ur mobo if is a TA-082.If it is, you need to upgrade to 2.80, before downgrading to 1.5, then upgrade to 3.xxOE If it is not a TA-082, upgrade it to 2.71, then dg to 1.5. either way, u won't be needing GTA UMD This post has been edited by King83: Jun 16 2007, 06:35 PM |

QUOTE(dasoulz @ Jun 28 2007, 06:19 PM) hi there, make sure you 2 are in the same channel... Network Settings.i tried to play a network game with my friend on the PSP but we cant. Basically, we cant find each other on the game list Both of us have different firmware actually. so is that the root cause ? Also, are your games of the same region? R1 won't work with R3 for some games. This post has been edited by King83: Jun 28 2007, 06:34 PM |

smaller files means it's compressed .cso
update version comes with all UMD. You need to have that firmware or higher before you can play the game. So if you're lower, click on it to update. btw, what fw u using? |
