I think it would be the 2600mAH mega pack if u want it to be within the normal dimension range. tongue.gif

There are always the 4200mAH, 8000mAH. etc. But these are the BIG ones. U attached it to your console instead of inserting it into your battery area.

A newbie Xlink Kai question:
Is it compulsory to have port forwarding?
Is it compulsory for me to have a desktop or laptop with Wi-Fi cards/adapter?

Below is a picture of my network setup. wink.gif *it's a lil buruk since i did it in 5mins using gimp... (really noob at gimp)*
[attachmentid=277574]
*
yes.. you need to port-forward port 30000.
yes, you need wifi usb adapter but not all are compatible for xlink. The 100% confirm working is Planex gw54usb-mini2g. price rm69 at AllIT Hypermarket, LYN.

Urkk... what if i used my laptops Wi-Fi? Is it possible?
And... port forward from what IP to what IP?
I assume it'll be PC:30000-to-PSP. Correct? Or I got it all wrong?
Tried reading the FAQs and Helps, didn't help much.
*
usually built in wifi and wifi router not compatible with kai.. the only wifi router compatible with xlink is Linksys WRT54G early version.

i'm no networking geek.. sweat.gif i just forward port 30000 on my router and settled..

go recovery menu.

IF you dont know recovery menu, i assume you are using official firmware so enable it using internet.
ELSE do more reading about cfw recovery menu.

Well, this is the answer i get from him last time but it might differ now. If you are getting the PSP from him, you can upgrade on the spot FOC. However, if you wanted to upgrade the next time, there is a certain fee that you need to pay.Hope this helps..

EDITED:

Guys, just wondering whether anyone had bought anything from Play-Asia before?Wanted to know how secure is their shipping to here?Do they refund you IF the stuff get lost during shipping?Thanks..

Besides that, any pouch/casing to recommend me? I need something nice and can protect the PSP well. Thought of getting the Blackhorns Deluxe kit but dont kinda like the pouch..LOL..
*
free shipping is dangerous. shakehead.gif

why dont u go Play-Asia thread and ask anybody who want to share courier service with you? the thread is deep inside this section... sweat.gif

QUOTE(akachester @ Aug 19 2007, 12:04 PM)
Well, the reason i am interested in things from Play-Asia is because their price is attractive. As of now, i am monitoring quite a number of stuff to get once my budget is here. Having free shipping is a plus point because the price is cheaper when compared to buying here. BUT, if i am paying extra for shipping like FEDEX, DHL etc, its not much difference from buying it over here. Maybe RM10 - 20 difference, or maybe even more expensive. That is why i guess IF i wanted to buy, i really need to make sure their free shipping is trustable..

If not, i rather get it directly over here...
Why is it dangerous? Do you mean Play-Asia will not be responsible IF the item is lost during transaction? Would they do any refund?
*
They will refund if the item is lost but after 2-3month. they need to investigate 1st watever.. you need to email them everyday to make the process faster. but after that, if you buying using free shipping again, they will warn you to use courier as they may not refund for the 2nd time.

buying <USD50 is still safe. wink.gif

Yea..the UMD loading speed is slower than games in mspd. But in game....seem like UMD game got no lag (experience from GTA LCS UMD) compare to GTA LCS in mspd. I dont know how to explain...try it ur self. Hehehehe...
*
maybe UMD version fully load all data to ram and then no more reading from umd but on mspd, the mspd take place as ram's function? read n write during gameplay? hmm.gif

lets try other umd.. mhf2 perhaps? tongue.gif

how about umd movie? have u tried vandetta mspd version? hmm.gif

RM650-690 is basic pack NOT value pack. basic pack consists of PSP, battery & charger. That's all. Don't misunderstood.

in term of hardware, i never did a review..
in term of graphic, u can see it clearly with your eyes.. definitely ps2 is better.
*
its different if u plug into hdtv since ps2 native resolution only 480i but, psp can output 480p.

if u compare ps2 on tv and psp on its screen, surely ps2 win without a doubt.
