The only way i know off right now, check the battery life after full charge. A full bat PSP fat should have around 6 hours + if i remember correctly.

Anyway, for safety precaution, check out an original battery first. From what i have seen thus far, most of the fake battery are already easily noticeable physically. I mean, they just looked "fake".. smile.gif

hie...i'm not sure whether this question should post it here. but if i'm in the wrong place. pls let me know.
I recently owned a psp slim with ver 3.71. The first few days i was enjoying the games installed in the mspd.
but after that i started to have frequent hang during the game, else the memory card is not detected. i've not made any changes to the psp. anyone experience this?

I guess all PSP can support up to 8gb MSPD...But reccomended to buy ori from sony or sandisk as the non-ori 1 will have slow speed, lagging and easily corrupt sweat.gif

I am using non-ori on both the Phat and Slim. No problem thus far except for the slow speed during files transferring..

Original Sandisk 4GB is going for RM215 when i check it yesterday at All-IT.Definitely a good buy...

ahh ic...so i assume the main problem is caused by the memory card. Since frequent hang like this, i have to turn off the power and turn it on again. will i corrupt psp OS?
Thanx. i'll go try to look for the ori mspd. anyone got the link to differentiate the ori n non-ori mspd? saw it somewhere before but can't find it now.
By the way, i heard some said psp come with non-ori batt as well? how do i check that as well? thanx

I updated using fake MSPD. But I must tell you that it has a very very very high risk to it. You'll never know when your fake MSPD will die on you.
