Hi,

i recently have wiring done in my new house. The walls got to be hacked and they have covered it with cement.
Previously wall is smooth surface. How do i cover the rough cement area?

Is it by using Puttyfilla or there are special cement mixture to smooth it out?

I just did same and they skim coat the whole wall. Can't see the hacking at all now.

u need to skim coat larger area than the repaired area

anyone can do repair works

but it takes expert to do repair works that will blend seamlessly into existing surrounding

Do not get a wire man to do skim coat, get a painter to do it is more appropriate.
