Hi..I need some help. Last time my computer everything is ok, then after 2 years suddenly got one vertical red line from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen. Its there no matter what i'm seeing, so i think its the monitor problem. Then at that time sometimes it will have the red line then after about 10 minutes will disappear, then reappear again..But now is permanent already. Now even change colour to green and yellow!(sometimes apple green) mad.gif VERY ANNOYING!!

Then about 2 weeks ago got another line, but this time is thinner and blue color. So far it only sometimes, then disappear..But i'm scared later become permanent then even more lines come out. So basically i'm asking you all whether this problem can be fixed or not..And if it is the video card problem or monitor problem. My video card is Geforce Fx5500. If cannot fix then i go and buy new monitor..

The problem is your monitor magnet.
Previously my samsung flat monitor occur the same problem. You need to seperated the ultra violet item for example (handphone, speaker ) from monitor for a long period before it can resume to the normal.

If you're using an LCD monitor the red line is a dead pixel on your monitor

Looks like you have a dead pixel on your lcd monitor, I think they have some solutions online somewhere try Googling it. Otherwise you have to contact you monitor's manufacturers.
