Dear All, I have recently migrated from a MacBook Pro 2012 to a MacBook-12 2016. I have noticed that the MacBook-12 is not as snappy and smooth compared to the MacBook Pro 2012. Is it supposed to be like that? For example, scrolling through Facebook and even open Safari, on my Macbook pro 2012, the animation and loading seems to be smoother comparing to the Macbook-12

core M processor is a low power processor. not a full fledged i series processor. so expect it to be slower.

Ah. I didn't noticed this during testing. Oh well, got to get used to it then.

It's the speed of the processor. The higher the number the faster and better the CPU performs.

Yikes....no means to add oil into the fire. This is exactly why I'm holding back the MacBook 12. I'm now drooling the new Mbp with touch bar since the weight is pretty much similar to my current MBA.

That's the hard pill to swallow. I hate Apple. They successfully tempt me into a position where I will buy their products regardless of the price.

That's always the case! Find way to make up for the extra money needed.
