SP90 has macro capability of 1:1, after the putting +4 close up, has such impressive effect?? very amazing! flex.gif

tempting to buy also but trying really hard not to buy a tamron lens.
saving for sigma 105 macro cuz a nikkor 105vr is just too expensive.

how do you feel about the build of the sp90 lens?

depends on the diameter, for tamron sp90 should be around 80 to 120, for a 67 diameter one i got mine for 180 sweat.gif but i think its worth it tongue.gif

man, those spiders are really small sweat.gif can the sp90 go smaller than that? unsure.gif

great share man, great share!

I love your shots and shocked looking at the title that you are adding +4 filter on top of macro lense that already do 1:1!

How did you get so much DoF then? F32 ar?

By the way, I like your fashion week shots as well! thumbup.gif

well of cos the 105mm is much batter but it is also much more expensive 4 an extra VR and 15mm more range...if u have money then u can go 4 it cos the build is batter and the colour is more contrast so u dont have spend much time photoshop it...

ya, its ok 55mm...i was amazed at first cos it looks so long but the filter is actually almost like nikon 50mm f1.8 only...btw i dun think i can add any closeups filter already cos i use +4 oso i b at very close range that the spider actually jump to my lense when i shot them.. =.=

i use f 16 to 20 for most of the shots, y the DOF is so hi because i snap at a flat angle i think, i try to make sure i got it all in 1 focus line...

thx 4 viewing n dont mind kena poison guys...here r a lil more poison...hehe..

I like all your flies and dragonfly shots...

It looks very sharp.

I will worry about problem on autofocusing if I am the one doing shooting.

So did you use manual or auto? I assume manual right?

i had 2 use manual focus while using +4 hoya and most of the time u need 2 use manual focus for macro cos auto focus will be very slow...
