QUOTE(DarkAeon @ Nov 5 2016, 03:02 PM) quite frankly, they shud concentrate on fixing the numerous bugs that is killing the game instead of targeting communities that actually make the game more fun Before the recent updates, I looked forward to going back to my wife's hometown. At night, my brother-in-law and I would drive around the pokestops and check out the gyms. Being an average-sized town, the stops were too far to walk. We used Pokemesh to hunt down interesting mons, and had a lot of fun until late night / early morning. Now Pokemesh can't be used (until v10 recently, but it isn't the same anymore), and sightings go blank once we hit 40km/h. It's quite a turn off. Now we watch TV at home instead. It's the final nail in the coffin for rural players. Few Pokestops, less Pokemons, no sightings. I still play daily in KL, though. |

QUOTE(eksk @ Nov 6 2016, 10:35 AM) Pokeradar scan is based on predictive data and also crowdsourcing from other hunters so if hunters give you false info, then you know what la. Filter is also crap and ad is so invasisveLooks like only Pokemesh is working but only 50% level Do update if anyone has better alternative |

I still play daily in KL, though. to me, the scanners were filling a gap niantic should have filled in the first place but didn't. with scanners, more ppl actually play the game and thus more revenue now, without scanners players will have to randomly bump into mons. good luck with that This post has been edited by DarkAeon: Nov 6 2016, 01:40 PM |

Will later use the pokemesh in Bukit Jalil park to try to catch all viewable pickahus and probably Charmanders in KLCC park

Tried PokemeshV10 again in KLCC park after dinner from 8 - 9.30pm, caught 11 Charmnader with about 7 assisted by Pokemesh and 4 by bumping into itThese are what I have noticed:- 1. Timer run off by 10-20% either appearing later or still in view but actually gone 2. few occasions mons are wrongly positioned again by less than 20-50m Nevertheless, without other radar working, I think current PokemeshV10 is the only choice for me now |

QUOTE(lowyard @ Nov 7 2016, 04:54 PM) Pokiimap also seems to be working fine. Great at least we now know Pokemesh and Pokiimap is working which are only meant for AndroidSo for me I'm using both PokeAlert and Pokiimap for now. But I prefer fastpokemap when it was still functioning coz simple and no need to install app. |
