Top APS-C DSLR vs Top APS-C Z Mirrorless, price range around the same to what I remember.

Well who knows really, D850 and D750 are said to going to have successor.

Uhh if you based on that, you got a point. But the Z50 is more like a D7000-ish tier.

I think you're right.

Looking at the price at around $850, it is less than the D500.

i think z50 will be replacing d500 series.
they are shifting more to mirrorless now and cutting down on dslr line up.

feature wise d500 is much better than z50 but z50 getting a new bsi sensor.

I see. But i love potrait kind of picture. Will try to get wide lens

QUOTE(COOLPINK @ Nov 15 2019, 02:27 PM)
get a wide lens say 20mm or get the 18-140mm lens.
i always find wide lenses very useful for aps-c.

If you are an existing Nikonian, upgrading to Z6 is better. You can save a few thousands by doing so.

But if you have some money lying around the spend, going into A7iii also okay but those lenses are very expensive

FTZ adapter comes together with Z6/Z7. No need to buy laugh.gif

Since he has existing lenses. No need to buy G lenses for new camera bodies. So can save a few thousands icon_rolleyes.gif

F4 no gooding. Been a photographer with 16-35 F4 and a few other lenses. I dont really use F4. Photos hard to pop unless im shooting group photos/landscape. If you're a fan of portrait, please dont get F4. No worth it at all.

yeah i know that, i've been living with f2.8 & f1.8 lens all the time but there's no way for me to buy Sony 24-70mm F2.8..the price is f***ing insane..this time need to sacrifice my wide apperture lens to be able to migrate to sony system..perhaps 3rd party f2.8 lens?

Seem like Nikon Z50 have auto distortion correction. I didnt need to apply the lens correction on ACR. unsure.gif

My dream system combo. Z6 + 24-70 f/2.8 S. drool.gif

No image from this as I didnt have my own XQD card but I have to say this lens is really on its own class. AF is just fast and the image is superb. Feel very solid, heavy but lighter than the F mount version.

And the beast of all.

Nikon 58mm f/0.95 NOCT

Too bad I didnt manage to try to shoot with this. Only able to hold the lens at the of session. Solid, heavy piece of lens. Looking at the image shot by abang rizalis, image is really, really stunning. The dof and the bokeh produce is really creamy.

Price tag, RM34k. Literally holding Axia on my hand here. sweat.gif
