Just wanna survey which car are most maintance free. Pls state your car age and type after vote. The $$ spend only for REPAIR, not enhancement like adding turbo/change rim/spoiler/mp3 speaker.

No car is maintenance free.
5000km oil change interval, replacement of brake pads, alignment of wheels, filters, worn out parts etc etc etc.

QUOTE(mitsui_seeker @ Feb 12 2007, 09:59 AM) The bigger the car, the higher the maintenance fees..just my two cents very true......but some of the big cars....its worth it...... but compared to proton cars.....the ori spare parts are equally as expensive than the ones for imported car.......and the quality is not very good either......so that;s why many will resort to chop shop or taiwan stuff......but this is still bearable....what is worse is the shops that con you from these things.....you ask for proton ori but the b@st@rd give you FAKE stuff......written bosch but fake ones......some how this usually happens to proton cars....i have not heard or such cases on japan/korean/conti/us or even perodua..... i was even told that some of the proton bosch parts even got grades like handphone housing...example is my iswara headlamp....i changed both sides ori bosch but eventually found out that those are 3rd grades ones.....there are 1st and 2nd grades ones and the ori that comes with the car is the 1st grade ones....the light now is not very bright due too poor reflector quality..... p/s - this is not bashing proton.....its just to enlighten on the different quality of material even though sometimes the shop claims the parts are ori
