If i still have 1 year contract from last year phone, can i still get new 24 month contract?
*
Nope you can’t unless you pay a termination fee to terminate your current contract with one year remaining or you apply a new line.

Since you have one year left the termination fee won’t be cheap. Call the CS to check exactly how much the termination fee is.

Is it? I have a mobile line that was in contract before, which expired a couple months ago. I would have assume the account that signup for contract before will be at least "compatible".

Same here this is seriously rubbish from Maxis. In fact the last phone I bought from Maxis using their online store was the iPhone X, which is not too long ago. And yet now it is not supported?

I was one of those who got the online error saying my account not supported. I was in around 9.05pm.

There was an option for me to register my interest so I did that.
I just got a call from Maxis CS confirming my pre-order for the model and contract that I want, Now asking me to wait for SMS informing me to go to my chosen Maxis Center for collection.

Not bad, they've redeemed themselves a bit in my books lol.

Too late I ported out. Can't deal with this kind of farce over and over again. 14 year customer gone just like that. smile.gif

Port out via their website right?

Do you have the link?

I ported to Celcom. You can do it online on their website.

Yikes, yeah to be honest we do pay a premium for their plans with the expectation that the reception, tools and the customer service everything is better vs the likes of umobile and the rest. So you're right to do that. I suspect a retention team will call you soon to offer a deal to get you to stay  biggrin.gif
Anyway, the CS just called me again to confirm my collection at the Maxis Centre on the 13th of November.

So looks like they're also following up manually if you've registered your interest at the website.

I'm satisfied, for now.....  smile.gif

I couldn't even access the ROI page. Keep getting that 0 stock error. You're lucky.

You have to wait for the port to complete which will take a few days. Anyway both also have to wait. So screw Maxis. biggrin.gif

Bro I went to celcom blue cube pyramid. Once you confirm port out you can book the phone with them immediately. Confirm can collect on 13th as well with time slot and collection code. Haven’t successful port out also can book the phone with them already. And they were super friendly and helpful. This is what I call customer service.

Posting here for the last time. 14 years maxis customer signing out.
