i believe so. Hopefully they did give the new sim. else it will be troublesome to walk in maxis centre to get a new esim for the new iPhone.

problem occurs as i'm using esim now. so i can't use the new phone even i get it now >.<

Last year i bought the phone thru Apple MY, i need to walk in Maxis Centre for the esim. (so i guess it will be the same this round )

With all the automated CS/ Live chat now, can't really able speak to the CS directly. Information gotten are not accurate, i'm getting pissed to contact Maxis.

Maxis screwed up my order.... given Brightstar my very old number (10 years ago)... the despatch unable to call me. Luckily i got despatch number now and contacted him. I need go out catch him on the road to collect my phone!

finally met up with the despatch and gotten my phone !! Macam doing ''COD"...

i also don't know where went wrong. Brightstar delivery note printed my old number (not using for 10 years already). But my order invoice with Maxis is the current number.
I wouldn't know until i called the despatch and check out when will he deliver my phone. Initially he say my phone is not with him, and he called me back double confirm the delivery location only we realise the phone number is different. He actually called me this morning but can't get me.
He has too much order to deliver and unable to U-turn to me. So he ask me if i can go out and meet him on the road. Luckily the despatch is helpful !!

Phew... luckily i called brightstar first.. if not my phone will take forever to arrive.

nowadays iPhone has dual sim function. good unless u have 2 number. so 1 use esim, 1 can slot in the sim card.
useful if go oversea, no need to remove the sim and replace it.

yes, totally ridiculous. they should have do it thru online for the convenience of their customer.
i rmb last year i Q for 1 hour just to get the esim. Q with those walk in customer to purchase iPhone, no special lane.

Thats why this is very frustrated... last year i queue for an hour just to get a new eSIM during the first week of iPhone launch..

I just got the new esim replacement from Maxis the curve.
Less than 5mins. They confirm maxis esim just for one time scan. Maxis should look into this n upgrade their esim sys!
