How can an account not be supported by the Maxis Online Store. Pfft, oh well, if they dont wanna take my money, fine lol

I was one of those who got the online error saying my account not supported. I was in around 9.05pm.

There was an option for me to register my interest so I did that.


I just got a call from Maxis CS confirming my pre-order for the model and contract that I want, Now asking me to wait for SMS informing me to go to my chosen Maxis Center for collection.

Not bad, they've redeemed themselves a bit in my books lol.

Yikes, yeah to be honest we do pay a premium for their plans with the expectation that the reception, tools and the customer service everything is better vs the likes of umobile and the rest. So you're right to do that. I suspect a retention team will call you soon to offer a deal to get you to stay biggrin.gif


Anyway, the CS just called me again to confirm my collection at the Maxis Centre on the 13th of November.

So looks like they're also following up manually if you've registered your interest at the website.

I'm satisfied, for now..... smile.gif

If you're on Maxis One Prime, you don't have to pay advance payment.

Meaning postpaid + broadband fibre. The perks are unlimited data, free backup 4G connection for broadband fibre and no advance payment for a device per line.

No notice/email/sms yet. But like the other poster said, I'm not in a mad hurry to get it as well. If they screwed it up, I can just wait.

Came here. My name not on the list despite CS confirming my pick up date for today lol.

I'm waiting in line now, don't know whether they actually have the unit that the CS said was reserved for me.
