Maxis Centre at Sunway Pyramid has plenty of stocks for all models except iPhone Xs Max Gold. Got my Xs Max Space Grey 256gb around 4pm this afternoon. Long queue but was pretty fast!

From what I've learned from the Maxis PIC when I bought my XS Max, Maxis is for sure going to launch the e-sim facility as it will benefits more to its subscriber. I think testing is under-going at the moment while waiting for the official launch of iOS 12.1.

Let us just wait for the show. To me, even I could have the esim from Maxis, it is useless to me at the moment as I wound't want to try out the Beta iOS. I need stability after all for my phone, which is also the reason I pick iOS.

I wonder should we request for esim standalone or multi sim?

I’m at Maxis centre here and seems like the staffs are not aware with this. Currently I’ve activated my esim but couldn’t be used yet. And it seems like my physical sim is out of service.

I went to IPC. First there.
Told the person at the counter wanna change e-sim.
He replied me they didnt get any updates or info from HQ.
I showed them the website and email, then they know they needed to provide me the eSim.

Register for number, give IC, gaodim!
But it did take awhile to be able to use. Restart the phone might works.

You mentioned that the way they responded to you were arrogant, didn't the way you talked to them sounds arrogant too?
I mean, from the salesperson POV, it's my duty to follow the company's policy, and I have no obligation to make any alternative.
Even I have that kind of option, why should I provided you with that option, while I knew I would have a better customer than you?

The moment you mentioned you could have "brought" the sales of another 24months to Maxis did make your attitude no difference with that salesperson.
Who knows I had just closed a sales who subscribed to Maxis one plan RM188 with 4-5 family plan which deserved the offer you mentioned above?

I'm just an ordinary man, not any spokesperson of Maxis.

I think I had the best experience ordering my Pro Max 256GB Pacific Blue from Maxis.
I placed my preorder on 9th, then the order page showed the delivery date falls on 18th. I was expecting a delay, but out of nowhere, I got a call from Brightstar yesterday telling me my phone had arrived. But I wasn’t at home so I requested to postponed a day, and viola! Got my phone 10min ago!

No payment required at all to my case as I’m a 128 users for many years with good payment record. My last phone was XS Max which also attached to the same package, and the contract is due the same time iPhone 12 arrived.
