I asked about contract waiver as well. Not helpful. Live chat told me earliest is 1 month, KLCC told me none at all. My contract expires mid April 2020

Previously was 4 months I think. Asked them about it i.e the 4 months or whats the max number of months left on contract before I can request for waiver. Like I said, got different answers. I was on Zerolution with upgrade option before and the screwed up think was I only used my upgrade option a couple months late in April 2018 because Maxis kept giving me different answers about changing my phones in regards to the need of upfront payment.

I take iPhone XS Max Zerolution 360 last year. 12 month i sell the phone thru mudah RM3.3K. Penalty due to maxis for early termination & redemption phone (i own the phone) RM3.5K pluss. This year take 11 Pro Max continue 360. Okey la just pay rm200 plus for new phone instead of RM1,950.

pay RM1950 then got new phone 12 next year...
so total RM142 X 12months plus RM1950 upgrade free for 1 year usage of iphone11 Pro Max 256GB

It's a 3rd party app, I can't recall what app is that but previously I've seen a buyer using it. They install the app to the phone while buying it, basically similar process like how most phone shops take second-hand phones

yes, maxis is very strict, and they only allow waiver if left one mth contract. anything more than that, need to pay penalty. my concept same as yours, we are signing another 2 years contract, not terminating, why don't they want customer to continue? but i guess rules are rules.....

Hi, is there any way to waive advance payment for normal contract?

Anyone knows whether for maxisone prime rm98+rm89, do they consider it as rm188 price bracket? I was looking at the iphone 11 and i could't find rm98 pricing bracket hence i assume it should be the rm188 bracket instead for normal contract? Or perhaps that means im not eligible for the iphone 11 normal contract promotion?

Which would be weird because in the maxis one prime pages it was mention it's possible to get a device as well through the rm 98+rm89 subscription.

Yeah, this is true, but that's one thing they won't do coz they will want to try and retain their high ARPU (Average revenue per user).

I've tried all other telcos and unfortunately at my housing area only maxis have decent coverage. So for me it's a lack of options, hahaha
