So, as you know, I was told I couldn't preorder by maxis CS because my existing iPhone 11 Pro Max contract runs till 5th October and apparently the Apple Watch I took under Zerolution is tied to my number and still under contract. So I went to bed, got up this morning, logged in to maxis for fun and tried to preorder as you suggested last night. I didn't think it was gonna go through so I just tried my luck, took the 128GB 13 Pro Max, added to cart and tried to check out, fully expecting to be prompted that I wasn't eligible. But then it went to the payment page, I keyed in my credit card number and got the order submitted, hahaha... Not sure if they'll cancel it eventually. Let's wait and see..

Hahaha, yeah, got the tax invoice via email but still suspicious whether they will figure out I should technically be not allowed to pre-order

Haven't seen the amount reflected on my credit card transaction yet, once it is then I'll feel better, hahaha...

This is my first ever successful pre-order with them, hahaha. I’ve always had to walk in to get the device I want over the years.

Did you guys opt for the rm52/month safe protection plan? I actually remove it before checkout yesterday but KaiHD said first 3 months foc and can cancel after that...so I rugi 3 months free safe plan?

I actually didn’t read much and just remove everything else knowing how tricky and messed up maxis are lol, didn’t wanna fall for their gimmicks..

Maxis changed their policy last year to make safedevice fully optional last year, and people who want can still get it if they didn’t add it during checkout process

you just have to walk in to Maxis center within ten days of receiving the phone, and tell them you want to add safe device to your plan. first three months is complimentary, but need to remember once cancelled cannot be reactivated

Any idea what does it cover? and if I want to continue after 3 months, will it run for the entire contract 24 months?

I wonder if Maxis will actually update the system when they ship out via courier

Afaik, you can only buy via principal line and not share line?
