QUOTE(realitec @ Dec 14 2017, 07:43 PM) I have seen many people complain about Maxis customer service is trolling them. When online showing there is in stock, but when arrived, they dont sell it, and guiding them to another Maxis store, and the other Maxis store will say the same things also. Suggest you walk in any Maxis shop nearby to check whether the device you planning to buy available. Sometimes it’s not trolling but rather the system is not updated. Anyways I’m surprised that stocks are still limited now, as I’m sure the hype has died down. |

Yea, maybe the factor of price, causes the shop to order less. Which makes the stock limited. Or maybe shops are holding on restock as our MYR is getting stronger, they might get in cheaper price. |

That actually should means consumer should consider hold back too as the price or subsidized price may come down... but all these unpredictable in msia |

I'm a victim of such trolling by Maxis. Status was updated at 2.XX PM stocks available, I was there 2 min later and they argued no stock and ask me go elsewhere Complaint about them and got offered to be arranged by Maxis for 1 unit without the hassle. Told them to fly kite. |

Let's say by getting iPhone 8 plus 64gb MOP 128, i only pay 2.6k+ for phone price. When the price drop in Lazada, actually it is still higher than what I bought from Maxis. |

Maybe the dealers may hold less stocks.QUOTE(dinozilla @ Dec 15 2017, 08:19 AM) That actually should means consumer should consider hold back too as the price or subsidized price may come down... but all these unpredictable in msia Somehow doubt that will happen anytime soon, haha.. |

I just back from HK, and price there by conversion, actually the X 64 should be around 4.5-4.6 now, instead of the current 5.1if not because of the telco subsidy, i would have looking forward on getting there as honestly still feel 4.5 is very pricy to go with...3.x is the range i can accept Contract or not, i will have to stick to 1 data plan anyway.... if i have a sure answer that is going to happen soon by Maxis, i don mind to wait... i hope my device trade in value can remain... lol |

To save the hassle when claiming warranty as it is Malaysia set, in case Apple Malaysia reject device from HK. If your housing area Digi's coverage is good, you might consider of getting cheaper monthly commitment which is 78 + GST per month. Device price should be higher than Maxis, but you will have cheaper monthly commitment. It's already been sometimes iPhone X release, after CNY, i think the price will slightly drop. Good luck on getting yours. |

QUOTE(dikae @ Dec 15 2017, 12:27 PM) DiGi 78 is a 6GB all day and 6GB weekend if not mistaken. Better top up 20 per month and go with Celcom It's a pity MOP 98 doesn't allow subscribers to buy iPhones. This post has been edited by attw: Dec 15 2017, 12:32 PM |

Better top up 20 per month and go with Celcom im fine with digi 78 with 6gb a month, since i don't even use more than 5gb monthly.. im concern with the coverage lol... coz i don't have good experience with digi coverage around my area....anyway not that i can jump ship now lol... unless i pay penalty..which is not a good move..It's a pity MOP 98 doesn't allow subscribers to buy iPhones. |

Just buy a new simcard if you want to try whether the coverage suit your appetite. Maybe it has improved? Who knows. |
