My encounters are, there is that override thing or clearance thing...
Last time the POS office say the supervisor is not back, she can't do the system on her own.
In bank also, there the teller request her supervisor for clearance on the amount to top-up, usually the chief cashier / smth like that (supervisor role)....

@sms2u, u working at banking line or smth?

Having said that, I'm not sure whether this clearance thing is everywhere yet. Maybe someplace skip it??

But the POS woman really told me she could not do that during my last visit. She specifically mention it's a two person system now. One key in, another supervisor clears it. She said.

One wild guess why nobody mention maybe the supervisor skip rule and give her password to staff. So the staff both key in topup and clear herself.. to make things faster.. bolehland..

At that time, I was just taking form from her and she did not ask me how much I want to top up. She was also in the middle of processing other customers.

She just told me that I have to wait for her supervisor to come back if I want to toup.

Only now I know the limits..

Anybody ever do large topup at Pos? Like 5 digit?

Like if say supervisor is busy with certain things at moment or not around. Coz supervisor also handle her own stuff and may wish to finish with it first.
