Today got 4 figures, last 5 minutes before 4pm.
Mostly AS1M, ASW not much units, didn't try ASM since no cash ad. Should have too up ASM for equilibrium between this 3 account.

Thanks for the Deepavali tips, today and tmr also prevent lose of 1 month interest. biggrin.gif

this confirm as1m not all the time can get wan.
*
Well this show only 1 thing..
Even with 1m name in the fund, people don't care anymore..
As long can get sapu all the units...
And most likely some are "moving" from FD to ASx blush.gif

I wanted to top up asm / asw, but no units at that time. Why so easily get as1m? Like sweet Christmas gift?
*
Guess because of 1m name devil.gif
And the "weakness" of the fund blush.gif

top up AS1M very easily ... 20k, while ASW and ASM zero. currently my ASNB almost >70% is in AS1M, sorry newbie here, how does switching in ASNB work? 1 to 1 if unit available?
*
No direct switching in asnb funds..
U do the indirect way..
Buy asw or asm,but pay using as1m (withdrawal)

gonna share something.. truth story and it just happened today.

an uncle bought portfolio of PM UT for RM39k at 5 years ago, and guess what?
He received RM38k when he update his fund balance, and he is not allowed to sell it by today? The bank ask him to wait their manager come back...
*
Why needs to wait for manager wan doh.gif
Simple task also cannot do huh??
Or there's some reason behind it devil.gif

QUOTE(heavensea @ Nov 1 2016, 09:53 PM)
the dividends of fp asx automatically "reinvested to top up the same fund" if we didn't cash it out? I means compounding automatically? No need manually to do it right?
*
For now, yes.. It's reinvested automatically..
Future I not sure.. As there some rumours future dividend would be bank in to unitholders bank accounts

Ya you mentioned about this. If manually in the future = very hassle..
*
If that's really happened, then there would be minimal units available.. As those normally withdraw on dividend day won't do that as the money bank into casa....

As for your another question..
Fund size needs SC approvals.. If no approval for increased in fund size, dividend paid in cash (bank in) blush.gif

Sc=? Standard Chartered biggrin.gif

Which means if the dividends paid out "unable to buy" units at that day = pay back to investors?
*
Lolz its Securities Commission laugh.gif

Dividends reinvested into funds = need aporoval by sc, so they normally increased ot every year?
*
If u looks at the funds details, units in circulation is abit smaller than approved fund size...
The "gap" is the one we can still get new units as dividend..
When the total units in circulation is same as funds size. Then we get cash dividend..

That what I understand..

ASW 2020- 1997- 2016 (including cheque payments from 1999- 2004)= 300% (+ if it was reinvestment from 1999- 2004)

ASW 2020- 2005- 2016= 200%

This is the record of my 'stagnant' passbook including record of cheque issued from 1999- 2004.
*
thanks for the info..

I always forget which year ASW gave out cheque..

TS, better put this info on 1st Page.
