 AppleCare (MacBook), Did you buy it?

I have one MacBook pro is due for AppleCare add on.

If I did not buy it, is it very high risk?

Hurm, actually its a good add on if you extra budget. Spend on the AppleCare, so your macbook will be secured around 3years if I'm not mistake. I did not purchase the AppleCare cause my tide budget, but luckily its still survive since late 2013 smile.gif

Conclusion, if have budget just go on with AppleCare, if don't have budget, take a good care of your machines smile.gif

Nope, didnt get the Apple Care, though my rMBP had faced problems with the speakers (1 side blow) and the "staingate" issue.
Other than that, no problems so far.

If your mac has survived the initial 1 year, usually there won't be any more problem next couples of years.
It's up to you whether to get the AppleCare especially if you have $$$.

I agree to this 100%. It's happen to me, 1 year survived without any problem, now is almost 4 years working perfect biggrin.gif

dont waste your money on applecare, if you careful enough i dont think anything bad would happen.

yup, decided not to get the applecare already.

this 28th 1am, new macbook pro will be announced. save the money to buy the new one. biggrin.gif
