Nope, didnt get the Apple Care, though my rMBP had faced problems with the speakers (1 side blow) and the "staingate" issue.
Other than that, no problems so far. |

If your mac has survived the initial 1 year, usually there won't be any more problem next couples of years.
It's up to you whether to get the AppleCare especially if you have $$$. |

It's happen to me, 1 year survived without any problem, now is almost 4 years working perfect It's up to you whether to get the AppleCare especially if you have $$$. |
