Yeah my connection has been worse. Nowdays no matter what IP I connect it's always 450-600ms. Then late at night it'll randomly go up to 800-900ms for no reason ... annoying as hell.
Still Laggy?

QUOTE(myremi @ Feb 6 2007, 10:37 PM) seems like to play WoW, can only have 30 (or so) programmes running in the background. And also to turn of Windows Media Center. No music I guess. QUOTE(cluelessblizzardguy) Look in the processes tab of the Task Manger, if you have more than 30 processes there, there is too much running. A brand spanking new installation of XP will already have 20-30 processes. Hell, my computer now I have XP, WoW, MS Office and Norton Antivirus installed (and nothing else), and I already have 40 processes. It's probably just people with old old computers running 256mb of ram that are having these problems, I've got 1 gig and I've never had any WoW problems. |
