Out of curiosity, do you guys leave your PC on the whole day? I do. Helps to keep that fast line connected on all the time.

yeap i do keep it on but will off it once a month i think lol. but my router remains connected

my pc only restart. rarely have the time to off..

Only time my power is off is when i blow my power supply =P

I've "tried" to turn off my pc every night I went to sleep last time.

I usually turn off my PC but keep my modem on. If I am downloading something, I will keep it on the whole night. My room is definitely several degrees cooler when I didn't turn it on the whole day.

i keep only the monitor off. PC and modem still on.

if i keep the PC off but modem on, makes not difference because i'd have to redial to streamyx and then it's another IP totally. still not good at configuring the ADSL modem.
