Poll how many fans running in your CPU now.

Ok, how to count
PSU - If like I-Cute twin Fans so is count 2
HSF - If like stock HSF that mean is 1, something like Mini Typhoon Value Pack those bling bling small fans not count..
Casing Fan - any fan will count
Ram fan - Dual fan will counted as 1 fans only, exp. AllanGap Ram Cooler is 2 fans running. But count in 1 fan
VGA Fan - any fan will count
Northbridge & northbridge - any fan will count


If posible please count total of CFM
In - ** CFM
Out - ** CFM

*Pls tell us why u system less fans and why lots fans

haha.. i'm the first to vote.. my chapalang psu hav 1 fan, standard intel HSF (1), 1 LED fan and 2 noisy evercool fan.. the CFM? dunno how to count..

10 fans?? U need what power supply to supply power to 10 fans??

Oh yea, how about GC's fan? Does it count? If yes i got 3...

my old skool geforce4 mx440 has no fan.. heatsink only..

GC fan also counts?.. i guess it should count rite coz it produces noise also.. if like that.. i have 8

3) One X 120MM PSU Fan - Original Enermax Fan found running at 1000RPm

80MM:
One 80MM Galaxy 8800GTS Fan - Fan running at 2000 RPm

70MM:
One 70MM fan attached on my Noctua NC-U6 Chipset Heatsink - Fan running at 2500 RPm

60MM:
Dual 60MM Fans on the ram cooler that is made by allngap. - Not quite sure about the speed, only allngap knows...
[I don't count it as one fan, as it's sucking a lot of voltage, not a normal 60MM fan]

And that's it.

**Oh my, i thought i'm the winner with 12 fans in my casing, but seems like allngap beats me...

just wanna ask what purpose for this topic? and why need some many fan in a system. and look like many didn't write down why.

gud comment... i try ask them for WHY need fans so much ...

im a temp freak..like to keep everything running cool inside..n of course fill up all the available fan slots

i voted 6 fans ...

1x 82mm Enermax FMA 350W Fan (actually two of them at the back and below PSU)
1x 120mm ThermalTake SmartFan on ThermalTake BigTyphoon
1x 120mm CM UV -- cooling HDD area (it helps a lot - 30°C~35°C)
1x Capalang 92mm Fan -- cooling my PWM and nForce4 SLI chipset
1x Vantec Spectrum 92mm Fan -- cooling my 2x512MB Team Extreme PC4800
1x Stock VGA Fan
1x Stock nForce4 SLI Chipset fan...

that's all , i like it cool and not so silent i must say...damn Vantec Spectrum is pretty noise

who has apparatus to check CFM?

I have:

1. Antec Front intake LED Fan -- 120mm
2. Antec Rear exhaust Fan -- 120mm
3. CoolerMaster iGreen Power 500W -- 120mm
4. Stock Intel CPU Cooler -- Not sure the size (waiting for big typhoon vx)
5. Stock Zalman Cooler for Graphic card -- 70mm
6. CoolerMaster UV Green Silent Fan -- 120mm (Side fitted, to cool Northbridge and memory)

Future add-ons: Evercool Crab / Thermaltake Cyclo, SilverStone FM121 and mayb top exhaust (If i'm ready to cut a hole through the top of my casing)

i got 4 fans include my gc fan

1 rear 8cm fan
2 fans on my enermax psu
1 fan for my gc

but the rear n psu fan make my room like so hot coz take out the heat to outside my room...

hdd = 1 (not sure size)
psu = 1 x 120mm
total = 6 fans

^ for the Speeds they give nice, but not nice enough because they have a low frequency resonance that requires silicone dampeners to make sure the hum isn't transfered to my case which is rattle prone.

Planning on the few replacement candidates below. The flow figures for the 14 dbA's are pretty good
