i'm using cooler master elite 430 casing.... 2 on top 1 for back 1 for intake ( front of casing ) 1 from side trasparent window 1 from bottom intake ( beside of PSU ) all is coolermaster silent fan 120mm size.. #havent count my cpu heatsink fan n PSU fan n GPU fan..
Added on September 30, 2011, 10:36 amim using hyper 212 plus dual fan . if count all 10 fan inside my rig...

Newest rig, upgrade of my previous Ursa Major rig:
1. Intel Stock HSF (i5-2320 CPU, controlled by mobo) 2. Zalman HSF (XFX 9600GT GPU, controlled by Aerocool Modern-V) 3. Silverstone PSU fan (Silverstone Strider 750W PSU) 4. 120mm CM "90CFM" blue LED (intake fan, 4-in-3 HDD cage, controlled by Aerocool Modern-V) - to cool 1x WD Caviar Black, 3x WD Caviar Green 5. 120mm CM "90CFM" blue LED (intake fan, side panel, controlled by mobo) - aimed at GPU 6. 120mm CM Excalibur (exhaust fan, rear panel, controlled by mobo) - to exhaust air from CPU area 7. 140mm CM blue LED (exhaust fan, top rear, controlled by Aerocool Modern-V) - to exhaust air from CPU area 8. 140mm CM blue LED (exhaust fan, top middle, controlled by Aerocool Modern-V) - to exhaust air from the casing 9. 80mm slim CM fan (intake fan, side panel underneath CPU, controlled by mobo) - to blow cool air onto underside of mobo
Total of 9 fans

using cm690 ii advanced front = 1 hdd = 1 bottom = 1 side = 1 psu = 1 gpu = 1 back = 1 top = 2 cooler v6gt = 2 behind the mobo = 1( 80mm)

1.CPU H70=2 2.ram=2 3.top=2 4.bottom=1 5.mobo=2 6.gpu=2 7.hardisk=4 8.psu=1 total=16
b4 used untill 19 but since no significant temp changes..i pull out another three...

My computer actually have no reason at all for having all these fans  I got some weird OCD where i must fill up any possible fan slot on my case 7x 120mm fans aorund the case 2x 120mm fan for cpu 1x psu fan 1x gpu fan 1x random tiny fan i found a slot for 12 fans This post has been edited by Alakutubak: Oct 28 2011, 07:45 PM

its how amazing when i see the poll result to know there are almost 1/4 people to have 7-10 fans... more fans not necessarily give you the best cooling results, there are always air flows knowledge included
