Hi guys, i have some questions about suprima,

1. Does the front passenger side glove box have lights inside? i forgot.. haha..

2. I got vibrating feedback when cruising 120kmh.. (gone to service centre changed front disc 2 times now.. meaning 4 disc ady.. changed new tyres done alignment balancing ady.. but still vibrate lerr..) can someone chime in on what to do to rectify this problem?

3. If i install an aftermarket diverter valve, can it void my warranty? (tempting to install because can hear turbo fluttering)

4. I randomly got hu error saying "Unfortunately, the process com.android.systemui has stopped" not all the time.. sometimes ok.. sometime not.. any idea?

5. Is there any plug and play audio head unit that can fit this car without compromising the original button function?

6. I had an issue when the key jumps out from keyfob while driving.. haha.. bundled keys too heavy i guess? which makes me wonder.. If lets say i have a quick grocery run, i just take out the key without shutting off engine.. does the car drives without it if somebody else suddenly drove the car?.. haha stupid question.. but anyone knows how safe this push button system is? anyone tried?

Guys, my car will be doing its 60km service. Can you guys share the estimate price for the service. I cant find any service manual price for this car. All shared across internet is old version. Can someone upload the service manual cost?

Hi guys, I just wanna share my experience so far with my SS at 63k and the whole proton service experience thus far.

what proton replaced;

on 10k replace left disc brake
on 20k replace left and right disk brake & front right parking sensor
on 40k replace OCH + front left parking sensor + pair upper engine mounting
on 50k replace left rear parking sensor + gearbox mount
on 60k replace all gearbox and engine mounts + rear right parking sensor + cvt damper recall

today at 63k my rear left parking sensor showing intermittent sign of kaput. I wonder what the material they use that is so easy to kaput (pelik) . Still outstanding is for proton to repaint my rear spoiler (faded clear coat on top).

I changed the all 4 ori achilles tyre just shy 15k (didnt bother to claim as SA told me only get 1 tyre at a time). Changed new 4 conti MC6 at 60k. It seems the front tyre wears out quickly than the rear.

Some problem still there like gear lock release which sometimes frustrate me when go to petrol station and start the car but stuck in P. Tried all known method, 3 times arm and start, 1 time start, etc. this happens randomly. Sometimes when the lock releases, the wiper arm comes on and the lock console then clicks to release gear. Other times the hazard signal comes up. At first i suspect the battery, but changed a new yoko 55 but problem still occur.

I also changed the front brake pad to bendix. Screeching noise gone, have a spare cross drill rotor to install when this rotor pair fade later. The rear brake pad however is still at 70%.

Have to adjust the rear bonnet lock. Too far out and the rear bonnet door will rattle when vibrate but boot lock release is easy and vice versa. If adjust too far in, you will have to crawl on the inside to push the door from within the car to open.

Proton service adviser is a hit and miss. Almost all of them will rant about proton. I have been to 3 service centre so far, and most of them will rant even if you didnt ask them to tell you a story you wouldn't want to hear.. haha.. but seriously it happened to me and i see them doing it to other customer as well. Customer hearing SA rant.. haha.

I was told that in order to replace any of the faulty parking sensor, they have to paint it according to car color. The duration for replacement are due to the availability of the spray painting man in my case. For e.g my last case, it took them 2 days just to paint that damn sensor. Luckily they gave me a company car. So, if you buy touchup paint and paint them urself then they dont warranty you which i asked them. So be mindful when claiming for faulty reverse or front parking sensor.

sorry for the long post, just pointing out things that you can expect when owning SS.

as stated, replaced under warranty.. they inspect it to be bad.. funny, i just monitored the health of the mounting during my tyre replace at tyre shop but no evident of faulty mounting... but they replace it nonetheless..
im planning to go full rubber when finish warranty..

in my humble opinion, i think its your front left or right disc. try let proton test. next is tayar. change new. My experience.. i changed brand all new tyres and then still vibrate, went to proton they test and test and confirmed disc warped.. proton have replaced me 2 pairs of front rotors. this is below 40k mileage.

Ermm to all who are knowledgeable, i'm seeking assistant for my SS 2015.. Problem rough idling.. things i've tried

1. Replacing zip tube (proton replace)
2. Replacing new plugs (expensive, proton replaced)
3. 4 brand new plug coil ori (my DIY instinct)
4. Cleaning o2 sensor (dip with petrol few hours, light brushed and then CRC)
5. map sensor (sprayed with CRC electronic contact cleaner non residue)

Problem still exist.. Its sounded like high cam loping noise... haha if thats make sense.. since i replace all coils, when the engine hot, the idling smooth abit. I used obd code reader no fault code.. Send twice to proton to scan codes also no faults.. can somebody help me?
