Actually was also considering HRV but the price difference is not much and this car looks more ok interesting...

Engine doesn't need to be same, even 1 model can have few engine variants

french cars are notorious for poor quality and very very long waiting times for parts replacements. my neighbour had to wait 3 months to get a replacement ECU for his citreon picasso. can you imagine 3 months unable to use your car and no courtesy car replacement? never understood why the heck it would take so long, even if sea-freight from france to malaysia also just 6 weeks for 1 tiny ECU. thoroughly terrible.

Captur so far so good.

Torque is there, max speed no yet tested, but cruising with 120kmh is planted on the road. Less tyre noise and wind noise.

Meter cluster is beauty to my eyes.

And its under Euro TC Car...

i think share platform level for C segment with common 2L engine etc. not really a slyphy rebadge le.

So far my ALMERA no issues...... maintenance also past four years paid like less than 2k in total

They're using same platform for 2 different car.

Example like:

Audi Q7 = VW Touareg = Porsche Cayenne
Audi Q5 = Porsche Macan

platform usage is too general, car also can end up as SUV

but generally renault got some french quirkiness especially in their cabin.
am sure the NVH of this conti also different from nissan's asean models (with local asian parts and less insulation etc).

How about sharing identical same parts?
VAG parts all having VW, Audi & Skoda name on it (not sure Porsche)

if TC bring can fight cx-3, hr-v. looks better also

for sure door panels n dashboard , seats not the same right? didnt check out renault range in person, only see from brochure/web.
maybe screws, switches or some engine parts got common, i guess.
