For telco like YES (again) that bought without plan, the idea is to get a refund right?

At least for me, i'd like to get a refund. But what i'd like to know is if Samsung will still offer the RM300 discount for the S7e despite this coming from a 'partner'.

There is always the alternative of RM300 discount from Galaxy Life (or online as some of you have mentioned).

Could someone collect the links to the online stores that sell the S7e at better prices?

Nope. I had to call YES Care and they asked me to go to the place where i bought it. Asked for YES store 1U's phone number, and they said they don't have it as it is 'dealer'.

Had to call this guy called Fikri (014 738 8874) to verify what needs to be done

In short, go to the store yourself and ask the question.

So efficientttttttttttttttt, cannot brain.

somehow i don't buy their excuses. Call me cynical but they've never been honest and upfront. Every store is disconnected from 'top management' (if that even exists).

I just want to know, will i be able to get the RM300 if i change to an s7e with Samsung. Cos if YES plays the "i'm waiting for more information" game, it's probably gonna be past the 23rd, and the Galaxy Life promo ends, and if Samsung doesn't give the RM300 discount for the recall to Telco buyers, we're all fuxed.

I will swap to the s7e, and i will need it before the end of next week, as i'm traveling.

Can anyone share links to SME set s7e in lazada, 11street etc that has black? the ones ive seen all either no black, same price as samsung store, or imports.

For those that buy from YES, here is the update

Got a call from Agnes, saying I had the option for refund, which will take up to 3 weeks, or take an s7e with rm300 discount.

One more to note, those that did the exchange a couple weeks back, the first day they took all accessories. If you are one of those people, get in touch with Agnes and let her know that you would like to take back your accessories from that day. This is because from the 2nd day onwards they did not take back the accessories, but conveniently forgot to inform the first day people.

Edit: you only need to bring complete phone, and box, nothing else

she will call me back at 1030 this morning for my final decision. i've decided to go for the s7e with 300 cashback.

Do remember to tell her you want your original box accessories back from the time you did the exchange

She did not tell me the deadline nor did I ask about it. I should be getting my phone sometime this week/weekend. You could probably ask her when she calls you and let the rest here know

Those that are complainign about YES and what YES(doesnt)care,

Be aware that stores like those in 1U etc are DEALERS

When I spoke to the CS last week they said go to the store you bought it from, i said can you give me the # to the 1U store, they said that is dealer, so they do not have the number.

So, it's not surprising that the dealers are trying to give you the runabout, since they're so disconnected from their mothership (whether it's on purpose or not, it doesn't matter)

I for one am apparently getting my exchange done by this week, but seeing every post here about YES, somehow i have my doubts. If it comes to the next week, i'm asking for a refund instead, as i need a phone since i'm traveling

Got my exchange to the s7e at YES 1u yesterday. Finally. Also got my set of N7 accessories which were taken from the first exchange.

Trading down from great to good. How sad.
