just hoping maxis don't force us to take the s7e on zerolution with monthly payment same as Note 7. currently, s7e zerolution monthly payment is more than monthly Note 7 pre-order. I am hoping maxis can cancel my zerolution since I have no intention of taking s7e... willing to wait for other phone next year.. what a waste of casing, additional usb type C cable....

Actually S7 Edge not really downgrade, it is 99% same spec as Note7 except it release earlier, no S Pen,  no Iris scanner (I feel the explosion maybe due to this, who knows it never stop from scanning, Samsung is not the 1st using Iris scanner, the 1st is done by Sharp in Japan and Sharp removed it after a while that phone get release in market by mentioned only it never accurate.)

a few additional things to add... you will loose another 32GB of storage... and 3rd party Always On Display (AOD)... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I hope this time, Samsung will handle telco's set too. Telco always problematic in handling this kind of issue.

+1 on this issue... Telco seems very slow in their action. Waiting for SME instruction.. Until today, no sms or call from my telco (Maxis) regarding the Note 7... vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif

Anyone received any calls or sms or email from maxis?

no call or sms from maxis for me.. when I call their Hotline, they mention that they still waiting Samsung instruction... very annoying because it seems Digi already know what to do...

sigh.. i also awaiting maxis feedback. am wondering how they handle for the contracted phone pre-orders of note7. went to maxis weekend also find out no information.

for a very very big company, seems like the no feedback is a mismatch to their company profile hmm.gif
*
same here.. I was wondering what will happened to customer with zerolution... is the contract void?. If not, will they force us to take s7e as replacement but maintain the same monthly payment for the phone like Note7 which I think shouldn't be because they already hike the monthly price for s7e from RM96/mth (before Note7 pre-order) to RM111/mth (2 weeks ago) to RM117/mth (currently)...

youre lucky then, because actual monthly is RM 117 for S7E under 128 zerolution right?
*
It is not lucky... is it taking advantage by Maxis coz previously the monthly payment for S7Edge was RM96/mth. They increase the price from RM96 --> RM111 and finally RM117. It dont have the screen capture of those price changes by Maxis on zerolution but I always follow the zerolution price by Maxis. Infact, last time, if you wanted to buy zerolution for iPhone SE, you can choose the MOP98... but today, you have to select MOP128 the minimum plan...

It seems Maxis is taking advantage on Note7 user since they know no other phone similar to Note7 except for less storage (32GB), iris scanner, 5,7inch display and usb type-C which is S7 Edge..

Just got my call from maxis. ...

Stuck with the contract option for either s7e or p9 plus. ...

No option for refund...

Forced to choose. ...

Going for s7e coz the camera n screen resolution n ip68.

Sadly will be charged 101 coz on maxis one plan 128 for next 24 months.

The waiver will be 101 for the next three bills.

So. ..will end up paying 2424 minus 303 = 2121....

Suxks coz still paying 101 for a lesser product

Maxis vs users score -->1 : 0

is it confirm we cant terminate our zerolution and force to pick either s7e or p9+. My sole purpose of taking the zerolution is because of Note7. Since there is no Note7 anymore, I dont want to be tied to zerolution at all... mad.gif

if they force no refund and cancellation of contract, DO NOT RETURN the phone under any circumstances. highlight the issue to SME and facebook samsung and say the offending telco are basically holding the customers to ransom.

certainly we've waited long enough to choose a plan for a particular phone and if that phone is now defunct and dangerous, there's no point to continue the plan. we rather keep the plan option for instead a future note 8 or similar instead.

agreed to above statement... if no Note7, then they should offer us the option of termination of zerolution... not forcing us to take other phone with zerolution.
