the end is near.. so maybe on a brighter side, we can share our 'best moments' with our N7 while it lasted? LOL.

Good to hear a lot of people still using..

just be extra careful while charging and usage.. seems like Viet made sets like ours are still 'safe'..

Maybe TS can pin 'precaution steps need to follow if user still reluctant to powerdown N7' at front page..

- never leave charging overnite
- never apply too much pressure on phone while caring etc..
- opt to turn of fast charging
- bla bla bla

at least its a last ditch LYN N7 community effort to ensure everyone's safety..

just me 2 cents

Just got my call from maxis. ...

Stuck with the contract option for either s7e or p9 plus. ...

No option for refund...

Forced to choose. ...

Going for s7e coz the camera n screen resolution n ip68.

Sadly will be charged 101 coz on maxis one plan 128 for next 24 months.

The waiver will be 101 for the next three bills.

So. ..will end up paying 2424 minus 303 = 2121....

Suxks coz still paying 101 for a lesser product

Maxis vs users score -->1 : 0

Are you 100% sure there is no refund?

Another forumer said earlier that Maxis CS allow refund...

So which is true? This is so confusing and frustrating.

That's what CS say. Zerolution deal is such n therefore no option for refund.

Now I'm forced to stay with maxis another 24 months. If ask for refund, they will know I'm going to go to other telco so they keep me against my will.

The new digi plans looking more attractive ....

I will still bring this zerolution n the extended 24 months to consumer Forum under mcmc. Hopefully there is still avenue for me to say sayonara maxis n zerolution after being with them for most of the time since 98 when they came to penang.

I may be following this route too if Maxis doesn't allow refund for my case. I'll see what Maxis CS says to me first.

Guys.. Guys.. Chill~
U sure no refund option?

Im on zerolution @ 101/mth also. Received a call from them just now with two options:

1- S7E with 3 mths zerolution waived
2- Return phone and cancel/void the device contract with the 3 mths payments being credited in my bill.

Its also clearly stated in maxis FB i think.. someone posted yesterday.

best bet to call back Maxis again. maybe its just a misunderstanding no? hmm.gif

..oh ya, any Note 7 accessories purchased frm them also can be returned provided that u still hv proof of purchase.

just some guess answers:
- if you still have support or warranty of any other phone but if you smash it up or total damage it, your warranty with any other phone manufacturer, although still available is as good as a blank piece of paper; aka nothing

- some people have weighed that the price cost of the phone with the possibility to use a great amazing phone up till the next iteration of the note 8 to be worth it

- the idea of reselling it probably does not even come up, like at all, for these people cause the money is not the issue

- cause if anyone surrenders it right now, there's nothing even remotely close of an alternative for use up till the note 8 release

- cause all of samsung malaysia's return policy is horrendous compared to other country and they will feel really cheated if they give in to such bullying

- oh oh, another one.. ever since the announcement of EOL of the product, suddenly the product burn out reports has been quiet which leads me to previous:
hmm.gif

no one is fully knowledgeable. btw, please don't misunderstand to take it that i'm saying that i'm knowledgeable. i just know enough that i'm one of the few who weren't affected by the first 60% limit in the first earliest batch of pre-orders even as i used the phone two weeks ever since the OTA was first pushed in malaysia.

no, i don't feel any need to publish cause the info is available publicly on google. and also there was many doubters to original before first recall 60% limit, when people said it is impossible to disable OTA update, so just leave these doubters be as they wish to. it's for those who still am currently using the note 7 until they can proceed.

Awesome man thumbup.gif , people like you keeps this thread relevant and alive.
Now i really freaking regret returning my phone too early.. at least could wait out until DEC 2016 deadline.. cry.gif

Like someone said earlier, it makes a huge difference in knowing how to properly use and handle your 'potentially' hazardous phone.
