When I first saw his first posting, I went --->  shakehead.gif  and thought to myself "Student still studying in uni already wanna buy RM 70K car? What is up with his mind...bragging that 'I have a new(er) Honda City and you...are driving a Proton Iswara/Kancil'....  thumbup.gif  "

Neo's design is good..but it's the lazy & lethargic-low end CAMPRO engine which I dont like.It spoils the entire driving impression..even with the famed Gen.2
TS/benQue If you are going for an automatic CAMPRO version, you're best bet is to forget about it; it's auto tranny is program to shift up too early, making it more lethargic.I wonder how would it compare (head-to-head) with Civic EG6 SRi B16C VTEC engine... hmm.gif  whistling.gif  .Prove us wrong, Proton.

rozac has his points about the Swift; Swift's VVTI engine is more or less drives like an upgraded MYVI (duh!) except with much more ponies, better handling and it has a good reputation to smoke others on the highway.
I love the aggressive outlook and black interior (except for a slightly dull dashboard). The only thing I hate ..is the mileage meter. It's like a cat chasing it's own tail, and the "hard to read instrument meters" while driving.

Proton GEN2 1.6(M) 0-180kmh

(Still...someone should put a "Video Response" featuring GEN.2 vs. Civic SRI with the above mentioned engine)

TS, do you foresee fetching lots of chicks around uni anytime soon? If not, get the Neo. I personally feel 2-doors are selfish cars. It is so inconvenient to pick and drop people! Especially when it's raining!

Ya, TS just get the Neo.

A cheap, cheerful and not bad looking 3-door hatch. Quite a chick magnet (for now) since not many people driving it.

I'm sure you want to avoid being a 'people's mover' while you're in college eh ? rolleyes.gif

mod parts for neo is kinda rare now, but slowly in time it will be common,

usually people will mod the exhaust system and such..
