Did u allow storage permissions for the music app in settings?

Generally there are xposed modules to cloak root status, can try that bc I feel benefits of root greatly outweighs just a few apps

Anyone tried the various custom kernels can report in on which one has the best battery performance? So far only tried radon on Miui 8, getting consistent in SoT. Though I won't go to CM14/Lineage until it's stable. Dun hv time to try all😁

performance should be best on latest versions as optimization is improved, though if u want stock experience with good performance Xiaomi.eu rom is the way to go

Kate vers here too, fyi RR5.80 based on LineageOS 7.1 is already suitable for daily driver.

Tbh more or less the same... maybe 1more hour added for SoT, run smooth though im gonna return to Xiaomi.eu for now until xposed nougat is released.

Sometimes its a physical problem
I.e. dust/lint stuck in port. Give it a good blow and see if that helps. If lint use paperclip to clear out
