Bricked. My friend passed to outside did and I suspected thr hardware was changed .

Battery also got issue and always got this -2>% low battery notification.

And when charge, always  the same level -2>% and never get to 100%.

If unplug, also same but phone can tahan without power off.

any beta testers for the MM rom for redmi note 3 here? when are they releasing MM or are they going straight to Nougat? At this point, I think they might as well go to N straight.

Currently on Slimbean base on CM13. Thinking of going back to MIUI. Last time on MIUI 7. Just a quick question. If I change to MIUI 8 stable it should be able to play pokemon GO right? It's been awhile but miui has it's own rooting system inside of it wonder if it pass that secure google test.

or you could try magisk systemless method..but as mentioned it's kinda loosing game ..unless more exploit comes up

Nop,maybe those build by Santhosh is hit and miss and lots of bugs. But the one I am using now is from "abhishek987" base of Strix. Initially when I flash the firmware > ROM > Gapp, I boot into it, and camera dont works AT ALL. But after flashing the Radon 3.0.1, its perfect now.... Camera (back and front), Video... is working perfectly fine.

Previously, there are some battery display issue too, such as even u charged to 100% battery, and unplugged, the battery state will not reset. But now it's perfect.

No random reboot, wifi, data, call, sms, everything working fine. basically its just a daily driver now. Been using it for 3 days on the same build now, and nothing happen to me... exactly the same with CM13, but with better feature and also I think battery life is much better too, since the aggresive doze build in with Nougat.

Unfortunately the box is at home now. But there is a thorus seal on the plastic of the box. So meaning it is local set, but Kate variant?

talk about problem. my redmi note 3 got problem. let me describe:

While updating many apps using Play Store
Say there are 10 on the list
Click Update All
Then off screen (or the screen off after a minute)

Seems that Play Store won't install the app unless the screen is on. It completes downloading the 1st app but won't install unless the screen in on. So if I have 10 apps on the list that require updating, I need to keep the screen on for the job to finish. How to fix?

I assume its not a hardware issue because both units like this.

Done things like Off MIUI Optimzation, Off Memory Optization, Off power Saving, don't see any setting for play store on Autostart or Permissions.

Does it mean I have no hope to flash the phone?

ur lcd got problem. same with my wife's unit. a bit darker compared to mine at same brightness level. and uneven backlight at bottom. but not yellowish. could be read mode has been turned on?

i'm living in terengganu. quite hassle to sent back for warranty. i  think gonna let her use 1 year then after warranty, change the lcd here.
