2nd pic is stock global stable ROM 8.0.5.0. Looks like artificial lighting pic has been improved... 1st pix is from Camera FV-5 v.3.25.1.

anyone got a good reminder app to recommend on the RN3? not too sure if its the phone problem or user problem. i've tried google keep and gtask. the notifications somehow just wouldn't work correctly.

when i set a test reminder for both gtask and google keep, they work fine. but when it comes to setting my real reminders, like taking my medication with repeated daily reminder. it just wont appear. no badge notification on the app, no pop-up notification, heck even no notification in the notification pull down page.


how can something so simple not work correctly is really driving me nuts bangwall.gif

just upgraded to miui 8 global 6.10.13 dev
finger print unlock vibration is gone...
and the charging ringtone is changed

Is this good or bad?

Why do you need vibration when your hand and finger is already on the phone?

It makes no sense.

If I buy an imported Redmi Note 3 Pro set from Lazada under Gtronics (Satu Gadget), would they have flashed it with the latest Global ROM with OTA updates enabled?

I am not tech-savvy, so I don't like to root or flash the phone.

Thinking of buying one since the price is very attractive now. smile.gif

Yes. You will receive Global ROM with OTA enable but not the latest (V8.0.2.0 as last week purchasing). You can update it via OTA to V8.0.5.0.

cm14 is not for daily driver yet, still lots of stuff broken.

cm13 is quite stable for daily driver..been using it for weeks. free ram? around 1.6GB and close to 600-700MB if multitasking, but depends on your installed apps and running apps as well.. at least feel quite smooth and no launcher redraw (nova, etc).

cpu governors? same as default, unless you flashed custom kernels.
