Any good features in MM for Redmi Note 3?

I'm using Mi5 since 1st day launching in Malaysia, RN3 MM Thorus unit just bought 2 weeks ago for my wife to replace her S Note 2 at Greenfone.. No complain from her as at today.. LL or MM doesn't have any diff.. MIUI 7 vs 8 a lot changes loorr..

After the latest update which some of you alresdy got. Android 6.0 one. I notice when I'm on wifi my network shows 4g even though I have set it to 2g only. I'm scared this is draining my battery. Any solutions? Yes I have turned volte off but still the same. Please guide bros.

set it inside your mobile network, choose 2G network only.

Yeah yeah I have done that but still. When i ON wifi it will go 4G when i off WIFI it will go on 2g :S

Are you using U Mobile or Digi? If yes, then it's a sign of them testing out VoWifi. Nothing to worry about battery consumption.

when i search spec for kenzo and kate, kenzo have 2/16GB and 3/32GB variation..

while for kate or special edition only 3/32GB listed, so any owner of kate can confirm their model is 2/16GB or 3/32GB..

499 still a cheap but mid midrange phone in my opinion. definitely worth buying even without discount. sometimes i pass it to my kids for them to take a short break when they are boring in the restaurant.

sometimes really need to thanks to xiaomi to offer value phone, at least i don need to break my wallet to get a midrange phone.

is this same as fastboot rom whereby I can use EDL to flash?

I really don't understand that I have done this twice on two RN3 that I have unlocked BL thorough China Dev ROM and then flashed back to Global Stable ROM via EDL mode with MiFlash just CLEAN ALL

When in Global Stable ROM, why the BL is still locked?

Or must use Fastboot method to flash instead of EDL?


Again, then sign in my Mi account in Global ROM and I can unlock again.

Before China Dev ROM, I flashed to Global Stable ROM, I stucked at 50% no matter what method I did.

Then I flashed to China DEV ROM, get unlocked
Then I flashed to Global DEV ROM as per method method above, BL get locked.
Then I signed my mi account immediately and performed MiLock and get unlocked without 50% issue.

Why why why?
