So, the IMEI belongs to either EIN or Mi Malaysia Sdn Bhd is covered under Mi Malaysia warranty... I hope imported set owners can share their SIRIM-IMEI status...

SIRIM-IMEI check

With this investigation, we can have double check / independent checking mechanism to know whether the item purchased online is truly covered by Mi Malaysia or not.

Alright... I've tried IMEI for my previously imported set Redmi 3. The SIRIM result is "No record found". Hence, this unit is under seller Warranty.

So, we can bookmark the SIRIM-IMEI webpage to check on the box whether the IMEI is local or imported set. Quite a handy tool I would say...

No worries... the 16GB variant local set has increased back to RM699... so fast-fast sell it at before Laz/Mi Store dropped it back to RM499...

Just ensure you don't get the "Kate" variant...it does support webe 850MHz band but hard to find its casing and tempered glass.

I'm using RN3 with webe for the past 2 weeks. Very delightful...

Just do the "infinity" motion/movement until the phone vibrates.

3) Launch Google Map apps to check the location is locked at the correct position or not. It should lock within 10 seconds. U might also get notification to enable Google Location to higher accuracy. Just accept it (hit OK or Yes).

At the dialpad, key in
*#*#64663#*#*

You'll be in the QC Test page. Calibrate the Magnetic sensor with the "infinite" movement/motion.

Don't get confused with the MIUI battery report.

As shown above, the current battery left is 87%. Meaning, the device has been using 13% energy so far.

Now, out of 13%, the "Apps" consumes 62%; while "Hardware" consumes 38%. Meaning, the "Apps" is ACTUALLY consumes:
= (62/100) x 13%
= 8.06% from the 4000mAh battery.

Then, out of 8.06%, the Android System is only using:
= (28.1/100) x 8.06%
= 2.26% from the 4000mAh battery.

Thus, the Android System is way below 3% after 2 hours idle.

My" normal" SoT is between 6 to 8 hours draining from 100% to 15%. How normal is "normal"...? I don't gaming, vix and navi. Just streaming and surfing via LTE or HSDPA+. No WiFi as my webe is unlimited data... LOL...
