Every electronic components will have life time. The more you use, the chances to get spoiled is higher.

memory card's so cheap nowadays & would only get cheaper.
so doesn't matter how long it last.
but do make it a habit to backup/transfer important data/files to a more reliable storage.

Get a reliable brand for peace of mind if you doubt about lifespan of a memory card.

Flash card industries brand like Sanddisk, Lexar, Transcend are well known for the reliability and speed of their memory card.

Remember: The price of a memory card is expensive, but the price of once in a life time photo is priceless... tongue.gif

You won;t know....my flash drive just died without any warning nor sign....

Get a branded card for the save of mind.

Sandisk Extreme comes with data recover software that can recover lost data from it's memory card.

And most important is life time warranty, no worries at all.
Anyway, using my pendrive for 2 years already. Still working fine. flex.gif
