Every time I take it to the shop the mechanics say they dont hear anything unusual. Been having this sound for a long time and the car runs just fine, but the fact it's there is quite annoying. Anyone knows what it is?

TIP: Can/should be very clearly heard at between 0:57 and 1:02

you dont hear a low-tone moaning sound or something?

vid might not be sharp enough to tell.... anyway i only hear some grinding... assuming thats just one of the pulley's

that and some rattling which i assume is just a proton feature

The grinding I think is the engine when I press the accelerator

The rattling is the tappet sound - been wanting to get it adjusted on my next service

The moaning is the one I'm talking about!!!

Probably from eksoz or silencer.

grinding probably one of the bearings..
tappet, biar je, adjust today, next week datang balik.... (its a mitsu special)
moaning.... if i were you, first would be to find where its coming from. If you can do that, you can really cut down the list of suspects... if you dont know where its coming from, its very difficult to say
