[MOD: If this is a wrong forum/subforum for this, please move to the relevant one]

Well, basically I am looking at websites to look for properties to rent. I have never done this before (renting) but found a few websites. One of them is iProperty. I have a few questions regarding it:

1) Is it legit?
2) Any issues or concerns?
3) Other alternatives?

Thank you in advance.

Thanks. Any tips for using the website? I mean here in lowyat garage sales, I know what to look for or signs of scammers. How about iProperty? Any signs that I need to look out for in your experience using it? Any reputable ones that you may know perhaps?

Thank you in advance.

Mostly advertisement in Iproperty are by agents.

Look for their REN number such as REN11111.

Those who are have REN number probably are not scammers.

is legit. Please refer to their feedback as well. A lot of 'bait' advertisement and so on.

Make sure the agent u engage to has REN number. Actually iproperty is only a platform, there have incident where 'fake' agent advertised at the platform too.

Also do a lot of research about the rental and actual condition of the house. Do not only depend on one agent, but engage a few and get the best price among all.
