if I would like to rent a condo or SOHO for both my own residential/business purposes, I will expect frequent visitors (3-15 per day) from my business.

Do I have to inform the landlord my specific purpose? Thanks. smile.gif

Interesting question. I would like to know as well.

From what I know personally in my opinion, yes, you can as a SOHO is an official business premise in the legal sense.

Yes, just wondering how it works. Do landlord really care if you use their property for business purpose, especially if it is a SOHO. I plan to live in it anyway, just thinking if the landlord will raise the rent if they know I am also renting for business purpose, or any other legal issues that I am not aware of. Hopefully someone can tell us the answer.

Not an issue if u r renting soho. If its a resi then depend on ur neighbour.

So where is ur rented unit???

your customers can register as visitors and park at visitor parking. parking few hours (not overnight) should be ok . if always the same customers may have problem if the jmc try to be strict . strata act did not stopped the same visitors from enter into condo many times. also each resident can bring 4 visitors to use the facilities eg pool. if no use facilities, no limit on number of quests. if u have 6 residents, u can bring 20 visitors to use the facilities.
