my zonealarm does not detect NOD32 as an antivirus??
its written there is no anti-virus running on your computer that zone labs can detect. Make sure you are running anti-virus software
why is it like that?
when i used norton, then it will be written monitoring by norton
help me pls, it makes me feel unsafe

first queston,do you want to install 2 AV in your comp?

if im not mistaken,some forumers said that NOD32 will have conflict wtih aone alarm if install together...

correct me if im wrong

Stop right there! ZoneAlarm does NOT detect Every AV that you use. NOD32 is NOT detected by ZA, but that doesn't mean it is useless. PERIOD.

Rest assured, NOD32 is a Good AV and IS NOT Detected by ZA. Thus, you can disable the AV detection Module. Cheers!

NOD32 and ZA conflict.... minimal possibilities. NOD32 not detected by ZA is common. Za has a list on their FAQ on what they products they support for monitoring. Basically it is just monitoring to see if an AV is installed only, just like Microsoft's security centre.

yeahh, at first i heard somebody said that it will conflict
thats why i wondered, ZA is firewall, how can it conflict with AV

Added on February 8, 2007, 3:15 ami came to this problem today for three times since early morning
after my computer has not been used for few hours then my zone alarm just stop working and there is a cross on the zonealarm and when i open the zonealarm it said my internet security is too low...
anyone came to this prob before, is it possible that it conflict with NOD32??
because it only happened after i used NOD32..
after the thing happened than i cant do anyhing..cant even restart my pc..
so had to press the power button..its already 3 times today..
need help pls

NOD32 look like don't have real time protect.

NOD32 does real-time protection.. AMON for file scanner, IMON for internet scanner

Back on Virtual's Case, Please reply the following details:-
1. ZoneAlarm's Version(6.1? 6.5? 6.5.737.001 etc...?)
2. NOD32's Engine Version (2.7?)

NOD32 Antivirus 2.70.16
now i am using vista, so this version of zonealarm doesn't work for me anymore

NOD32 v2.7 fully supports vista but according to thw zonealarm website, version 6.5 is not supported in Vista and not even version 7. Guess you have to wait.... use the built in firewall first... got defense better than none

depends on which vista you have. Vista Extreme have the full security solution including onecare....which is pretty crap but usable

New version of NOD32? its been version 2.70.xx for quite a while since december 2006. Version 2.70.32 was available since last week. Main updates on this version is the bug fixes.

Last time i use NOD32+ ZoneAlarm, when start pc the ZoneAlarm lagging my pc for long time and need to wait the ZoneAlarm programe finish running then only i can use my pc....

in vista i guess NOD32 + windows firewall is good enough.i have been using it for 1 month and there is no prob so far..
but in windows xp, i have a prob also using both NOD32 and zonealarm together.. when i just boot the computer, it says the service not active or something..that words always show everytime i reboot

NOD32 and ZA is no problem in my computer for 2 years already. What version of ZA are you using? 6.1 is perfectly safe and stable. (I am getting darn tired repeating this. LOL. )

I have try use Zone Alarm Pro + Nod32, start up pc wait for long time to load the Zone Alarm, althought other programe is finish running in start up if the Zone Alarm Pro havnt finish running on start up, i cant click any programe to run and just wait there ....
