The $2,279 device is an after-market hardware modification to Apple's MacBook notebook line. Axiontron Dot Com (Click For Link) claim it's the "First ever Mac OS X tablet computer solution!

They took a Macbook, rip the ori iSight off, put it into a touchscreen and called it a Tablet.
U don't need to modify OS X at all and the spec is exactly the same. It's cool, but if Apple were to really make a tablet, they would make a better one, more innovative. |

Overall, it's a good product. No disrespect but the sites is not working. |

Funny to see the word "handwritting recognition" written freehand but no 'text' were converted... in the photo. hehe.. didn't check the site though.
The Newton was way ahead of it's time.. it's hand written recognition is still the best and so far, no other device has ever been able to match it. |
